this was originally the opener to my november newsletter, but the fact of the matter is that what is happening in Gaza is urgent. it’s alarming to watch genocide unfold in real time. i don’t feel like i could possibly say enough to convey the magnitude of this, but i wanted to break down a few simple actions that my audience in the U.S. can take to help Palestine.
posting and raising/maintaining awareness. amplify Palestinian voices and read non-western news. it may feel performative to post to social media, but Palestinians are asking us to continue to spread their stories.
calling your reps. ask your reps to call for a ceasefire. spread the word to your friends and family to do the same. pressure your reps on social media.
boycotting corporations that are complicit. boycotts work. don’t be fooled by coupons or deals. that’s what happens when corporations get desperate.
taking action in other ways.
