Men on Love Island USA Season 6, ranked by how many red flags they have
coming at you with a back-to-back stack because i, too, am obsessed with love island usa
Everyone is talking about this season of Love Island USA, and how could they not? I have thoughts and feelings! And I figured the best way to get them across was to literally just rank the men based on how many red flags I think they have.
A note: this list contains spoilers!
Ignacio: none. I wasn’t going to include Casa boys that weren’t brought back to the villa, but I was so heartbroken that no one jumped on the chance to couple up with Ignacio! He seemed really sweet and like he had a good sense of humor.
Connor: maybe one. Connor is possibly too nice for this show. He seemed perfectly lovely. I know things didn’t work out between him and JaNa, but I’ve gotta be honest, she gets possessive quickly. He had every right to get to know Leah at that stage in the villa, and he was transparent about it.
Harrison: a nonzero amount. I didn’t see any red flags this season and tbh, barely remember him on the last season. I therefore give him the benefit of the doubt enough to assume that if he had any major red flags, I would probably remember them. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Kordell: a couple. You can totally say he should be lower on this list for Casa, and maybe you’re right, but the way he handled things afterwards was lightyears ahead of the way, uh… others handled it. He owned all of his behavior and kissed ass to make it up to Serena, even though he did kind of trample over Daia in the process. Justice for Daia.
Kenny: a few. Kenny’s main red flag is that he’s boring. I said what I said. Without JaNa, he is giving this show absolutely nothing.
Miguel: a handful. I’m still convinced he’s a fuckboy, but at least he’s upfront about it and seems like he’s trying to change? Sidebar, I do also think his tattoos are terrible.
Nigel: several. I don’t like how he talked to Liv, but I think there’s probably more to him than the several days he was on Love Island. That said, he did still talk to Liv that way!
Kendall: quite a few. He’s nice to Nicole, but decidedly a total bro who embarrasses her with his behavior on the regular. What more is there to say?
Hakeem: a multitude. I do not like the way this man talks to women. Period.
Caine: lots. Man, why do you even go on Love Island if you’re opposed to competing for a girl? Don’t you know that’s the point of the show? He seemed so irritated by things that are deeply embedded in the fabric of Love Island and was also extremely possessive of Sierra, not to mention rude to Liv (cardinal sin).
Rob: many. I know y’all want to see him right above Aaron, but hear me out. As a Casa reject from last season, I was honestly rooting for him at the start of this, and he did kind of fumble the bag in a big way. But let’s be real, he’s also the only reason Aaron apologized to Kaylor about anything, and that needed to happen.
Coye: so many. I was also lowkey rooting for Coye at the start, and maybe there’s more to him than we saw, but if you’re going to fuck a ton of women and expect them not to do the same thing, I have nothing to say to you.
Aaron: infinity. Oh man, I hate to make this about me, but I have to for a sec, because this dude is a British duplicate of my toxic ex. I actually feel bad for Kaylor, because I think he's really fucking manipulative! I wanted to root for him because I like Kaylor, but my heart actually shattered watching the way he moved in Casa Amor. Plus he refuses to take any ownership of his actions and generally acts like a child when confronted with anyone else’s negative emotions! What’s to like?
