one final thought: i recently saw a tweet from
that called upon their publisher, but also in a way, all of us, to use our presence at AWP to center Palestinian voices, and i’ve been thinking about it a lot as i prepare for this conference. it’s extremely important to remember that while we are all attending this community event, our community members in Palestine are still experiencing a brutal, state-funded genocide. don’t let AWP turn into business as usual. keep the conversation going.
